We look forward to the double infinity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acting Executive Director Liza Battad expressed her optimism on the 黑料网\u2019 (PCAF) viability to uplift the agri-fishery sector towards and beyond its double infinity year or 8<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary in her welcoming message on the agency\u2019s exhibit opening on June 21, 2021.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She shared the eight things that distinguish PCAF\u2019s public service, and these are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Participatory Mechanism \u2013 unique process of participatory governance<\/li><li>People \u2013 involvement of key stakeholders and technical experts in consultation<\/li><li>Consultation \u2013 adaptation of new ways for consultations<\/li><li>Policy Development \u2013 legislative and sectoral policy agenda<\/li><li>Policy Recommendations \u2013 guide\/basis\/reference for the department\u2019s decision<\/li><li>Empowerment \u2013 capacitating PCAF employees and key stakeholders<\/li><li>Partnership Development \u2013 involvement of public and private stakeholders<\/li><li>Network of Stakeholders \u2013 far-reaching stakeholders from national to municipal levels and various organizations and representations<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The opening of the exhibit, highlighting the theme \u201cIt is great to collabor8, elev8, and innov8 A&amp;F sector partner\u2019s participation through PCAF iCARE\u201d, was part of PCAF\u2019s eighth anniversary month-long celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program was attended by Agriculture Secretary William Dar, former PCAF Executive Director and now Undersecretary for Operations and Agri-Fisheries Mechanization Ariel Cayanan, and Assistant Secretary for Strategic Communications and Department Spokesperson Noel Reyes, and Regional Agricultural and Fishery Council (RAFC) CALABARZON Chairperson Pedrito Kalaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other key government officials also sent their warmest greetings through video messages.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the afternoon program, special awards were presented to the staff and divisions in recognition of their valuable contributions, especially in this time of the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plaques of appreciation were also awarded to retirees with 20 or more years in service. The list included: Magdalena C. Go, Elgie L. Namia, Arsenia A. Perez, Soledad B. Bernardo, Marilyn A. Gonzales, Lyn E. Oguis, Josie C. Riego, Alexander S. Daroya, Diana M. Delos Santos, Endri L. Songcuya, Mario C. Mendoza, Freido I. Prado, and Abraham B. Dollente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Loyalty award was also given to Juanito Chan, Jr. while posthumous award was dedicated to Raychelle Ayllon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the month of June, the agency\u2019s Operating Units organized activities revolving around the terms \u201cCelebr8\u201d, \u201cCollabor8\u201d, \u201cInnov8\u201d and \u201cElev8\u201d in line with the anniversary theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/Bg4-aEd2pFjUxgmMM9ZS_QIhrjoJTs3rLnkjwLgkQ_yV-fQwaz7IFMwZxK4foZqjS2frwz8nbnNnywOas7E4wVYNVz18CQdFu3NzABOHLlrBxSlWutZic_JXW4h4kNUrqRcdajs\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On June 8, the Planning, Monitoring and Knowledge Management Division (PMKMD) kickstarted the anniversary activities with its designated category <em>Celebr8<\/em>. It organized a virtual program to commemorate the World Ocean Day by showing videos related to the theme \u201cThe Oceans: Life and Livelihood\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desiree Eve Maa\u00f1o, Chief of the Coastal Marine Ecosystems Management Section of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources was also invited as resource speaker to talk about ocean conservation and the potential role of PCAF in crafting policy recommendations for the sustainability of ocean resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/sQVT_4Y3ZHZq2gMgRqv-RoTKLoBFt6FWh9RyBBnnySsWsiI3ekDyYpydzLwUfikqHiwzZpKYc33M-aVtTPHb0QBcHbN_7N2cTBGyQI58HsqfksaXca_5vxhgQjgZUfV1qBW7nI0\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Partnership Development Division (PDD), with the word <em>Collabor8<\/em>, hosted a stakeholder engagement forum on June 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The online forum aimed to showcase the concept of collaboration through the sharing of NGO and LGU stakeholders of their agricultural and fishery programs and projects.
