An oath-taking ceremony with the DA Secretary is expected to formally welcome them as accredited CPEs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the third batch of this training, three engineers participated from the Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering (BAFE), three from the Sugar Regulatory Administration, two from Philippine Rural Development Project-National Program Coordination Office, and 10 from DA Regional Field Office III.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two previous batches for this training earlier this year were conducted on June 7-11, in Tanza, Cavite and on October 18-22 in Tuguegarao City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training was divided into lecture, case study\/exam, and practicum where participants were required to conduct an actual evaluation of the performance of the constructor and rated the workmanship, materials, timeliness, environmental safety and health, and facilities in the \u201cConstruction of Seed Storage Warehouse&#8221; located in Solana, Cagayan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pursuant to Section 12.3, Annex E of the 2016 Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 9184, otherwise known as the Government Procurement Reform Act, all procuring entities implementing government infrastructure projects are required to evaluate the performance of their contractors using the National Economic and Development Authority-approved CPES guidelines for the type of project being implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CPES Implementing Units are responsible for the implementation of the CPES Implementing guidelines, including but not limited to, the supervision of CPEs to be accredited by the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CPES rating is being done to evaluate contractors and assess their performance to determine whether they can secure more government infrastructure projects in the future or not.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The 黑料网, which serves as the implementing unit of CPES of DA, collaborated with BAFE and DTI-CIAP to conduct this training. |<strong> CCB<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A total of 18 agricultural engineers from the Department of Agriculture (DA) attached agencies, bureaus and regional office in Central Luzon participated and passed the Constructors\u2019 Performance Evaluation System (CPES) seminar workshop-cum-practicum on November 8 to 12, 2021 in Angeles, Pampanga.
