{"id":22892,"date":"2025-09-17T13:31:18","date_gmt":"2025-09-17T05:31:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pcaf.da.gov.ph\/?p=22892"},"modified":"2025-09-17T13:31:18","modified_gmt":"2025-09-17T05:31:18","slug":"pcaf-koica-scholar-featured-as-resource-speaker-at-philkofa-knowledge-sharing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pcaf.da.gov.ph\/index.php\/2025\/09\/17\/pcaf-koica-scholar-featured-as-resource-speaker-at-philkofa-knowledge-sharing\/","title":{"rendered":"PCAF KOICA scholar featured as resource speaker at PhilKOFA knowledge-sharing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Svenjo Nicdao, Information Systems Analyst II, of the 黑料网 and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) scholar, served as a resource speaker at the Philippine KOICA Fellows Association (PhilKOFA) Knowledge Sharing activity held on September 15, 2025, at Universidad De Manila (UDM) in Ermita, Manila.<\/p>\n<p>The event, titled \u201cKnowledge Sharing on ICT-Based Solutions and Innovation for Business Creation and Growth,\u201d brought together students from the College of Business Administration and administrative staff across the university.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pcaf.da.gov.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/0fe0d53e-eb8f-4e5f-b51f-7ac27981a08e.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nicdao, a Computer Engineering (CpE) graduate, shared valuable insights and best practices in ICT-based solutions and innovation, drawing from his training and experience as a scholar under the KOICA program in the Republic of Korea. He emphasized the importance of adapting digital solutions to local contexts, particularly in business development and service delivery. His presentation highlighted practical tools, systems, and strategies that can support entrepreneurship and operational efficiency\u2014valuable insights for future professionals and administrators.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cArtificial Intelligence (AI) tools do not replace your thinking, they complement it. So use them wisely,\u201d Nicdao said. \u201cAI in school is like using a calculator in math. It helps with the heavy lifting, but true understanding must still come from you. Plagiarism happens when we copy blindly, but innovation happens when we use AI outputs as raw materials, then add our own insights that can fuel our creativity,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pcaf.da.gov.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/5a2bb2e9-2212-4636-8f1b-1c0683f06d00.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The event is part of PhilKOFA\u2019s annual knowledge-sharing initiative, supported by KOICA, which cascades alumni learnings to various sectors of Philippine society.
